DISNEYLAND with My Baby Girl

This last week was a dream come true for me. I was able to take my baby girl, Averie, to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. It was a magical week and I have no apologies for over posting about my trip! I gave fair warning that it would happen and I’m pretty sure you’ll see more pics over the next couple weeks and months. So get ready!

I have so many great memories of going to Disneyland as a child and as an adult. I can remember going to Disneyland and dreaming of the day that I could bring my own child one day. The older I got the more I began to wonder if this day would actually come. If you missed it read my story from the beginning My JOURNEY To Becoming a Mom.

Being at Disneyland with my baby girl was the best feeling ever. It was such a joy to watch her react to the characters and rides. She loved seeing Mickey Mouse and her favorite character Vampirina. I wondered how she would react and she absolutely loved it. The first character’s she met were Tigger, Eeyore, and Winne the Pooh. She was so excited, it warmed my heart. As we walked away from Pooh she reached for him and started to cry. Pooh came over to where she was to say good-bye to her. It was so sweet and she loved it. She did cry as we walked away! Her first ride at Disneyland was also Winnie the Pooh and she loved it! She was excited and clapped her hands. Basically she loved it all! It was so fun to watch.

My favorite memory at Disneyland was when Averie and I met Mickey Mouse on Main Street. The rest of the crew we traveled with went to California Adventure for some rides. Averie and I stayed at Disneyland to shop on Main Street. As we were leaving and heading back to the hotel we saw Mickey Mouse. Averie started grunting and pointing in his direction. The closer we got to him the louder she grunted. It was the cutest thing ever. There was a short line to meet Mickey and when I stopped moving the stroller to stand in line Averie started to cry. She did not understand why we couldn’t just walk up to him. When it was finally our turn she was so excited to see him. She touched his nose and was smiling so big. She cried when we walked away from him! I don’t like to see her cry but this time it was the cutest thing I ever saw. She definitely has a love for Disneyland just like her Mama.

My second favorite memory is of Averie dancing with her cousins at the dance party at California Adventure. At home Averie loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Vampirina. When Vampirina came out to dance she was so excited. She danced her little heart out with her cousins. That little girl had the best time.

I can’t wait to keep taking her back to Disneyland for more memories! You all are lucky we don’t live closer because I’d probably turn into a Disneyland Mommy Blogger! I hope you enjoy reading about our adventures, until next time.
