Why Follow on the LIKEtoKNOW.it APP? What’s the big deal?

If you have been on Instagram for any length of time then it’s likely that you have seen influencers post their pic and then say “Shop my daily looks by following me on the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app” or “Shop your screenshot of this pic with the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app.” I will admit I saw these statements and the little white or black heart in the corner of the pic but didn’t really understand the way the app worked. This is the heart I’m referring to, and I’m sure you’ve seen it in the bottom right corner of your favorite influencer’s photos. When I would see this image, I would like the photo on Instagram, comment (maybe) and then I kept scrolling. I rarely went to my LIKEtoKNOW.it app and I never did a screen shot because I just didn’t understand why I should. This blog post will highlight the reasons why you should follow your favorite influencers on this app and shop their pics! Let me start with explaining what LIKEtoKNOW.it is. If you are a shopper then this is an app for YOU! It’s likely you are a shopper if you are reading this and following me on Instagram. The app allows you to see all your favorite influencers in chronological order. Unlike Instagram where there are really crazy algorithms, LIKEtoKNOW.it shows everything as it is posted. I love this feature about the app. I know I am not missing anything from my favorite people. Often on Instagram I will realize that I haven’t seen anything from a favorite influencer in a while. I have to go to their page and bring them back to my feed. This is a frustrating part of Instagram because sometimes these are individuals that I interact with regularly. So why do they disappear? Well, with LIKEtoKNOW.it your favorite person never disappears from your feed! Did you hear me say chronological order! YAY

Before we dive into all the amazing things that are app specific for LIKEtoKNOW.it, let’s just get the obvious out of the way. YES the influencer makes a commission on each product you buy. It’s not a huge amount of money but it can add up. And if you love the product and love the content from your favorite influence then it’s really nice to support them. It’s an honor for your influencer to be on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app. Believe it or not, you have to apply to become an influencer and they review your social media to determine your acceptance. Not everybody is accepted so for me when I was accepted into the app as an influence I was beyond excited!!

Ok now let’s dive into the app specific content and why you may be missing OUT!

You may think you are seeing everything on Instagram but influencers are actually posting more photos on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app. Yes, this app has specific content. I have discovered so many amazing products from app specific content. Check out this app specific photo I posted. You would not have found this on my Instagram feed. 

I shared a peek at my bedroom and all my favorite finds from Target, Pottery Barn and well Target! This app allows me to share all my favorite things and when you click on the picture you can actually go directly to the products. And I am very proud of how this room turned out. I love it.

So all the products you see in my pic are listed below the picture and take you directly to the website where you can purchase the item. If I can’t find the exact match then I find similar matches and link those. I also tend to link similar items so that you can still get the same look but at different price points.

In addition to fashion you will also find me posting home decor, makeup and beauty products, hair products, and basically anything plus everything that I love. I admit I am a shopper at heart so you will find lots of good finds on my LTK.it page. It’s also likely when I share a product I love in my stories or my Instagram feed, I will also share it on my LIKEtoKNOW.it page. Such as these cute Disney babies! These are my daughter’s absolute favorite babies, and this Mama is proud. I love them too. They are the cutest.

So, not only do you save time on searching for products you see me share, BUT I will get a small commission on every product you buy through these links. It’s certainly not my job but it is nice to earn a few extra dollars!
